Students in the Health Science class at West Jones competed in the District HOSA competition in January. These students placed and qualified to attend the state HOSA competition in March. West Jones High School Health Science students in Mrs. Hayes class performed a “Pumkinectomy” using sterile techniques learned in class. Students designed and carved their pumpkins by applying the knowledge they have gained relating to surgical procedures.
