The HS Art students recently submitted 360 art pieces into the South MS Fair art competitions. Winning awards in the Visual Art competition are the 1st place: Mackenzie Masters, Juliana Gomez, and Christen Smith. 2nd place: Astha Banga and Sarah Ables. 3rd place: Kade Mathews and Alice Dickey. 4th place: Mackenzie Masters and Grace Harrison. Jennea Grey won Best in Show in the 4-H Art competition, and students earned 132 blue ribbons, 133 red ribbons, and 31 white ribbons for highest craftsmanship and design. Congratulations to all the HS art students for their hard work and accomplishments!

The ASVAB test will be administered on November 1st. The ASVAB is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. Any junior or senior interested in the military should sign up in the counselor’s office ASAP.
A recruiter from the University of Southern Mississippi will be on campus Monday, October 29th at 9:30 to meet with interested seniors. Sign up in the Counselor’s office if interested.

The Middle School Show Choir will be hosting a Zombie Run 5K/Fun Run this Saturday, October 27, 2018. The run will be held here on campus at 7:00 pm. Come dressed in your Halloween Costume and enjoy a night of running/walking, contests, and awards. The first 100 participants to register online get a free T-shirt.
