West Jones Middle/High School Library "Radical Reader" Program...
West Jones Middle/High School's Library now has the
"Radical Reader" program which promotes literacy by encouraging
students to check out books. Students
can win an awesome "swag pack" in the monthly drawing. January's Radical Reader of the month is
Jak'via Davis, a senior honor student who is very talented in art. February's Radical Reader of the month is
Kross Smith, a 7th-grade honor student who enjoys track, show choir, and rodeo. So far this school year, over 2,500 books
have been checked out, and the librarian, Mrs. Perkins, wants to more than
double that number next year!
