Jaylen Green and Ryan Logan represented West Jones at the
MCTM Junior High Math Competition (District Level) hosted at Jones College on
Thursday, March 5, 2020. This
competition is held at three levels: local, district, and state. Green and
Logan scored highest among their peers at West Jones to progress to the
district level where they competed among students from several counties. Logan received 2nd place overall for 8th
grade. He will compete at the state's
MCTM Jr. High Math Competition on Saturday, April 4th at Hinds Community
College in Rankin County.
